Weather & Best Time to Visit
Jordan has an arid to Mediterranean climate. The best times for volunteering are spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November), when temperatures are pleasant for both work and exploring sites like Petra and Wadi Rum.

What to Pack
Light, modest clothing that covers shoulders and knees (essential for cultural respect). A warm layer for cool desert evenings, comfortable walking shoes for exploring ruins, strong sunscreen, and a refillable water bottle. A headscarf is recommended for women visiting mosques.
